Psychological Consultations
Dr. Miller will provide psychological consultation regarding existing current school psychoeducational evaluations when the evaluation is provided by the parent and an initial diagnostic evaluation with the parent and child are conducted. This service is provided to offer a “second opinion” if the parent has concerns regarding needed healthcare or educational services. This is a 90 minute session. A letter may be written to the child’s multidisciplinary team with recommendations in some instances if requested.
No surprises: This service may be covered by commercial health insurance particularly if a treatment plan with Dr. Miller is developed. It may not be covered by commercial health insurance if no further service is provided.
In second opinion cases or if your child is an active patient, Dr. Miller may attend your child’s multidisciplinary team special education team meeting if requested by you. Dr. Miller does not provide legal advice but is willing to discuss his recommendations with your child’s multidisciplinary team.
No surprises: This service is not covered by commercial health insurance and is charged at an hourly rate.
Dr. Miller does provide psychological evaluations as adolescents near the age of emancipation and there is a question regarding plenary or partial guardianship.
Adult ADHD Consultations
Dr. Miller will provide psychological consultation and/or evaluation if requested by an adult’s primary care provider or therapist if there is a question regarding the possibility of Adult ADHD.
